The Balfour, classic cottage in CBD's Café Quarter

Short visit to family and friends Positive: Beautiful ambience quaint and great location I’d like a compendium regarding the history of the home. Beautiful outdoor area especially as weather was perfect. Negative: Many stairs as it is an historical home but these need more lighting to prevent trip hazard I would not recommend for elderly people .

A lovely cottage to stay in and great location close to town. Positive: A lovely heritage cottage. It was lovely to sit out the back for dinner. Nice and close to walk to the city centre. Negative: Misleading to list parking as a facility that is offered. You have to take your chances with street parking and move the car every 2 hours. We managed to get parking some of the time. Other times we weren’t so lucky.

Positive: The host was very communicative and the cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The outdoor space was great especially when the sun came out. Negative: We were not aware of the 2 hour parking limit in the street outside from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. The booking advertised parking but there was no off-street parking. Luckily, it wasn't too much of an issue for us.

Absolutely beautiful Positive: We loved everything about this beautiful little house. A perfect place to stay, beautifully styled, comfy beds, lovely courtyard with swing chair, spotlessly clean, well equipped, great location. Just perfect. 100% recommend Negative: We wished we stayed longer
