Positive: The house was pretty and comfortable. Negative: Street parking meant there was a chance we could not park infront of the house.

Great location great coffee and restaurants around. A bit of pain with the parking Positive: Location location Negative: Did not realise there were lots of stairs. Older visitors need to be warned

Balfour cottage is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Positive: The property was very well maintained and the managers had a lot of lovely welcoming touches. It is in an excellent location, short walk into the CBD , Aromas cafe was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom upstairs large and modern. We used the available washing machine and there is a clothesline in a sunny spot in the back yard. Negative: The only downsides were the narrow staircase to the bedrooms upstairs which would be difficult for older people and the 2hr parking out front on weekdays - but that was easy enough to work around as we were out most of the day.

Short visit to family and friends Positive: Beautiful ambience quaint and great location I’d like a compendium regarding the history of the home. Beautiful outdoor area especially as weather was perfect. Negative: Many stairs as it is an historical home but these need more lighting to prevent trip hazard I would not recommend for elderly people .

A lovely cottage to stay in and great location close to town. Positive: A lovely heritage cottage. It was lovely to sit out the back for dinner. Nice and close to walk to the city centre. Negative: Misleading to list parking as a facility that is offered. You have to take your chances with street parking and move the car every 2 hours. We managed to get parking some of the time. Other times we weren’t so lucky.
